No-Limit Holdem Poker- Who is Phil Ivey?

Phil Ivey has been branded as the number one poker player in the world by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching the age of one. His grandpa taught Phil one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, Phil was hooked on poker and wished to pickup whatever he could about poker. He would tell his grandparents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. Phil began competing intently after getting a false ID by the name of Jerome. He practiced his techniques at the casinos in Atlantic City. He made a decision to take his game to the successive level and headed out west to Las Vegas. He continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players on the planet. Ivey credits his achievements to dedication and an eternal love for poker. He states that he is picking up skills every day and is incredibly abashed about his success. Phil admits to making blunders in each game of poker and always strives to improve.

Despite the fact that Phil has won some big-time tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a normal basis.
