For example, I was playing a $1-$2 no limit money match at a local casino. I bumbled in holding 2, 9 unsuited on the dealer marker, so I could see a bit of action. Flop arrived A-A-4. A gambler in early spot placed a fifteen dollar wager. 2 individuals drop out and it was now my turn to act. I really should have folded, but his game play felt a bit off. I identified this contender as a weak-tight player, and regularly if he held the best hand he would just check, so I called.

The turn arrived with a 7, making it A-A-4-7. My opponent placed an additional wager of $20. I hesitated for a while, but made a decision to re-raise a further $30thirty dollars on top of his $20. He dropped out and I take the cash.

Playing last spot gives you an insight into where you stand by observing how other players react and bet. On the other hand, people at starting spot may use their poker spot to check-raise the last seated antagonists and trap them later at the end.
